Cheryl Poirier takes a look at the open source (read: free) audio editor Audacity. Playing the audio layer from a Miss Download episode in reverse, she searches for hidden messages...
Andy and Sean break through the acronyms and jargon as they demystify audio files. Should you choose a "lossy" format like MP3 when converting your aging CD collection to your computer and digital audio player? Or should you choose a
"lossless" format like FLAC? What is an MP3? What about AAC and WAV? And how about DRM? All these terms and more are demystified in classic Lab Rats style.
CDs are so 1990. Miss Download, AKA Cheryl Poirier, has a simple tool that makes it easy to get your music off the polycarbonate discs that currently hold it and on to your portable audio player. It's called FreeRip and, as the name implies, it's a completely free audio ripper. It can rip to and convert common audio formats like MP3, WMA, WAV and even Vorbis.

I been using FL Studio since FL3 and its about 7years form now ,the first FL was used to be a GOLs playtoy of experiment and so ppl can play with their simple wavefiles or midi looping together .by then something went special with it and ppl start to like the thing after that boom a hurriacane came (I dont know what happened)then a long time I last saw the page it was FL3 and god.....it is so good cheap eazy to afford I take a look on it for a year then 4 came i buy it ,untill now it is my main sequencer of all time ,you guys at imageline really done a good job hoping for more specials to come! thanks GOL for making FL Studio!!
Man, i have been using FL Studio since 3 came out back in the day. And I now have FL Studio 8 XXL Producer Edition. Theyve came a long way, and only for the better. Ive had and stilll have most of the other DAW programs, and FL is always my favorite, though i do like reasons sample library.( which only matters till you start gettin your own sample library built). But needless to say, this program is genius, works with anything, and is easy to use for beginners and versatile enough to do anything you can imagine once you grasp it. I honestly make money, get respect, and produce my own, as well as my teams Albums with FL Studio made beats. Along with a Roland Keyboard, but i rarely need it. The real nice thing is that it doesnt matter what kind of music you need. you got it if you have FL. And if you think about it, you can use FL as your ONLY program...it records, makes the beats, mixes, masters, effects. Everything. And for those asking, there is a New Built-in Sound property to make samples sound "smoother". i cant remember exactly where, but its in the index somewhere. The instructions help too, if you actually pay attention, just go with the flow though, dont stress, you'll pick stuff up as you go along. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as i do.
fl studio is great even doe i started wit reason...i still fink fl is the best for me right now!
iv been making beatz for 3yrs i fink :s
u can check out my beatz at !myspace.com/1latinboy1
see how far fl studio has got me:)
anyways enjoy the program!!is really gudddd!
This demo is a full functionally trial, the only limitation is that you cannot save projects but you can only export them as MP3 or WAV files (check it in the home of the official FL website http://www.flstudio.com).
FL is great, use it with cubase and you won't need anything else, you can do almost anything you want. Try the demo and you will uninstall any other music production software you have on your pc.
please please please ! i want a help , i know how to download DEMO fl studio 8 , but i don`t know how to download fl studio Full Version !! any one help me please!
