We're pretty proud of our monthly newsletters, and of our privacy policy that respects your digital rights. However, we've recieved several emails asking why, when an email address has been unsubscribed from our mailing lists, it's still recieving our monthly newsletter.
The most likely cause is that you subscribed to one or both of our email newsletters with an old address that you no longer use. However, that old email address is forwarding to your current address.
How to unsubscribe an old email address
- Send an email to .
- Use the subject line "Unsubscribe."
- At the top of your email, put the old address(es) you subscribed to our newsletter with.
- We will then manually remove your old email address(es) from the subscriber list.
- This will impact delivery of both the Tucows Developer newsletter and the butterscotch.com monthly update newsletter.
If after you've unsubscribed from our lists you find there's a newsletter-sized hole where our monthly updates used to go, you can always opt-in to subscribe to one or more of our newsletters. Just send an email to subscribe-authors@lyris.tucows.com to receive the Tucows Author Resource newsletter or subscribe-butterscotch@lyris.tucows.com.
